Hozier and Madison Cunningham Stun at the Iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is known for its beautiful scenery and the looming rock formations surrounding the venue, making it a magical place to see any artist who steps foot on stage. With a clear night sky overhead, it felt as if Hozier and Madison Cunningham were made to play there.

The moment Hozier stepped on stage, the crowd went wild. Illuminated by a spotlight and a sea of projected stars, Hozier began his set with the haunting De Shelby (pt. 1) before the stage lights lit up the artificial rocky terrain that acted as risers for his eight-person band. The ensemble led the ecstatic crowd through Hozier’s award-winning discography, playing fan favorites Francesca, Movement, Cherry Wine, Would That I, Eat Your Young, and, of course, Take Me To Church. To close out the night, Madison Cunningham joined Hozier on stage to sing a haunting duet of Work Song, enrapturing the crowd and commanding their attention through the end.
