As members of Playboi Carti’s music label, Opium, Homixide Gang continues to ascend. After the release of their latest project, I5U5WE5, they announced their North American “5 Activity tour.” The tour is set to take off on June 14 in Bridgeview, Illinois, at Seatgeek Stadium. It will continue in Europe before the duo begins touring around the U.S. and Canada. It will also take place in many different cities, such as Los Angeles, New York City, Atlanta, Houston, Toronto, New Orleans, etc. The tour will conclude in Chicago on September 5, at the Patio Theater. Homixide Gang’s most recent project, I5U5WE5 was released last week and it was one of their most brilliant projects by far. The album holds 14 diverse tracks with beats produced by various producers such as F1lthy, 100yrd, Brak3, Census, Chico, and many more. Some of Homixide Gang’s fans’ favorite selections off the album include the tracks “R50” and “HI-VOLTAGE”. Both tracks showcased the duo’s astonishing delivery and extraordinary beats. The album also includes a feature from artist and founder of the label Concrete Boys, Lil Yachty, on “SIDE EFFExT.” To add onto the story that the duo is trying to tell through the project, many of the tracks on this album are named after wrestling moves from WWE. Their distinctive sound is what attracts fans of many different genres to enjoy their music.
I5U5WE5 was first performed during Homixide Gang’s 2024 China tour, which took place in May. All five shows sold-out and the crowd was fond of the duo’s new music. Homixide Gang did not disappoint on this mini tour, and reached a whole new fanbase. As the tour continues across Europe, the US, and Canada, the duo will continue to showcase their unique sound and stage presence.
