Geese
Geese, a band from New York City, performed on the waterfront in Cleveland, Ohio, opening for King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Not only did they interact with the crowd, they had an amazing sound from pit to bleachers. One fan made a stuffed animal and the lead singer caught it on his way off stage!
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
I knew little to nothing coming to see King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, but the name was enough to tell me if would be a show to remember. King Gizzard fans are one of a kind and the people watching alone was worth it. In the past 14 years, they have released 25 studio albums, so they had a wide range of music to choose from. From their most recent album, “Flight b741,” to albums like “Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms and Lava,” they were bound to play music people enjoyed.
As the lights dimmed, they came out and the crowd went wild. The King Gizzard crowd knew how to open a pit! It helped when the music and band was engaging and entertaining. They played songs like “Predator X” and “Horology” as people crowd surfed over the rails. From the first song to the dregs of the last, fans were loosing their minds over the sounds of King Gizzard.
