The Plot In You released their latest song, Pretend, on September 27. The song is featured on the bands upcoming EP, Vol. 3. The EP is set to release on November 8. You can pre-save the EP here, as well as preorder some sick vinyls.
When I listen to this song, I think about battling the inner demons. That’s what I think the song is about, living with our own thoughts. We have to pretend that everything is okay because no one wants to listen, no one wants to notice the pain.
Vocalist, Landon Tewers, had this to say about the song:
“‘Pretend’ touches on the depressing nature of the current state of the world. How we tend to live in our own bubbles and forget the atrocities happening around us.”
