On July 18th-2024- Keith Hanshaw released a heartfelt and emotional single “It’s ok, I’m Not Even Here” and yes; I teared up a bit listening to this song. “It’s ok, I’m Not Even Here” is one of the most emotional songs I heard in a very long time. “Shadow drifting, consumed by fear” I can relate to so much because at times I feel like I live in the shadows due to fear of stepping out. “Invisible, broken, ghost in daylight” hit me as well because I feel all of this at times and that I just feel like no one notices me at all. This song has such deep emotions to it and I haven’t been able to relate to a song in a very long time, but this is one of them. “It’s OK, I’m Not Even Here,” reflects the struggles of FEELING alone, like no one is listening, self-doubt, loss of faith, and wanting to just disappear. It’s meant to connect with
people feeling the same way and encouraging them to keep trying and never give up. It’s dealing with anxiety and depression that many people face.
