Billie Eilish kicks off new tour celebrating her third studio album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, which was released May 17, 2024, and was received with complete love and support from her fans. It an incredible heartfelt album that has something for everybody.

My personal favourites are “BIRDS OF A FEATHER,” the lyrics convey deep serious emotions while the song still stays upbeat and gets people wanting to danc. Some fans have described it as a “bop” and I think I definitely have to agree. Another one of my favourites is “WILDFLOWER,” which, like “BIRDS OF A FEATHER,” convey a deep message, however, in many ways, it is completely different the song itself. It is slower and you can really hear and feel Billie’s emotion. I think it’s something everyone at some point can relate to and last, but certainly not least, “THE GREATEST.” It seems quite stripped back with the main focus on Billie’s voice, which makes the song feel raw and almost as if you are living it yourself. The Telegraph described the album as “A heartbreak masterpiece.” 

And I personally have to agree it’s gut-wrenching, pure emotion in the best way imaginable. 

I know a lot of Billie Eilish fans already were lucky enough to get tickets but for those of you who didn’t, don’t worry, because more dates have been added the first new date is Friday, December 20, and the second is Saturday, December 21. These dates were added because of the popular demand for Billie shows, having all of the tour sold-out and still a high demand for more dates is a spectacular achievement for any artist, especially a young 22 year old female artist.

Billie has been such a prominent artist for so many years now that I think people often forget that she is still a young artist, who, for the first time, will be touring without her brother Finneas, as he is also on his own tour, however, he will be opening for her at at least one of her concerts so he won’t be missing all the tour. Billie’s other openers are Nat & Alex Wolff, The Marías, Towa Bird and Ashnikko. 

Not only is Billie killing it in her music she is also taking vital steps in sustainability and lowering her tours carbon footprint which is incredible and something all musicians should try to achieve; helping out our environment. Billie will be working with environmental nonprofit REVERB again to help with sustainability. Fans are also encouraged to make more sustainable choice while coming to the concert like walking or taking public transport or being an empty reusable water bottle. Billie has also partnered with Google Maps to show fans where they are different plant-based options to eat before the concert.
