On October 18th, 2024- Swim The Current released their newest powerful track “Stay” via TLG/ZOID distributed by Virgin Music Group. “Stay” is co-produced by George Pond and David Caplinger which is now available to listen to on every streaming service! The band reminds me of Seether and Silvera which instantly made me want to listen to the song fully! If country rock sounds like this; I need to start listening to this genre more! I relate to this song because in my life I experienced many relationships that I knew in the back of my head that I needed to walk away, but in the end I stayed with that person. When you love a person; your decision making may be hindered and can cause you to be blinded.

When I wrote ‘Stay’ with George and Sahaj Ticotin, we were talking about the crazy punch-drunk love we have all experienced throughout our lives. Sometimes the love you have for that person of your dreams will make you do some crazy things. Sometimes no choice is your choice, and the weight of moving on is too much to carry. In the end, letting go was the choice you should have made, but instead, you stayed.”
