Tiny Habits
Tiny Habits, a band from Boston, took me by surprise with the heartfelt opening performance they gave Pittsburgh this past Tuesday. They reminisced at this concert about how they met in school for music and admired the people they get to play with. Tiny Habits brought a calming and melancholic energy to the stage and created a space fans could feel comfortable in. With the three part harmonies to their lyrics, “But I seethe warmth inside you, kitchen towels and Christmas light,” Tiny Habits had an impactful opening set. To top it off, they met with fans after and could be seen watching the set of Lake Street Dive.
Lake Street Dive
Lake Street Dive, a band with a unique sound that never fails to get people moving and heads bobbing, put on an amazing show Tuesday night at Stage AE in Pittsburgh. The band was wearing sleek, bright outfits that matched the neon lights of the stage. This paired well pop-jazz-soul fusion that lit up the venue. As one could guess, the personalities of the performers were just as ecstatic as their music and outfits. Keyboardist Akie Bermiss had hilarious commentary during their set, which added to their entertainment. Fans and the band alike were enthusiastic for the music played, and it was incredible to see a wide range of people at Stage AE.
