On October 25th, 2024- Impossible Prom Kings released their newest single “Chastise” and announced that they signed to Ghost Killer Entertainment! Post-hardcore bands are invading the scene once again and I can’t express how happy I am about that. I am all for bands that have that 2000’s aura and this band definitely has that vibe! As you watch the video; you can sense that pent up anger between both vocalist’s and that has to be one of my favorite aspects of the video. Each member of the band brings back nostalgia of what musicians use to look like which makes the music video even intriguing because we need this type of music to make a come back. And we need those “emo” vibes once again. The band gave me Chiodos, Alesana, and Silverstein vibes and when the heavier vocals kicked in it gave me Hawthorne Heights and Emarosa vibes. I can’t wait to see what this band has in store for us for the rest of the year and 2025!
