Misterwives LIVE!

There’s nothing quite like a sold-out weeknight show in Denver, and Misterwives brought the energy to match. Every square inch of The Ogden was packed with loyal fans eagerly awaiting the band. The lineup was stacked with pop duo Joan and Nashville band Moody Joody opening the show, leaving the audience absolutely buzzing. The night felt like a neon daydream led by front woman Mandy Lee. Lee entered the dark stage with steez, dressed in her iconic tartan rockstar outfit. She charmed the crowd with her incredible vocals and masterful stage presence; she was nothing short of electric.

The “Just for One Night Tour” has been an ode to the band’s ten-year celebration of touring together. They recently announced on their Instagram, “While this isn’t goodbye, this is the last tour we will be doing for a while.” The set was full of over ten songs handpicked by fans, including “Trip Around the Sun,” a cover of “Dancing on My Own” by Swedish singer-songwriter Robyn, and the hit song “Reflections” from their 2015 album Our Own House. They played each like it was their last. The band’s ability to perform both raw and perfected live music reflects all the time they’ve spent touring and growing; they deliver a stadium-worthy performance with ease. Misterwives was dynamic, and their chemistry as a band could be felt throughout the entire night. Truly performers to their core.
