On Sunday, November 24, music icons will unite at Madison Square Garden for the “SOULSHINE” benefit concert, an all-star event supporting relief and recovery efforts in North Carolina and Florida following the devastation of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Headlined by Dave Matthews Band, Warren Haynes Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Goose, the concert also features a stellar lineup of special guests, including Trey Anastasio, Mavis Staples, Robert Randolph, Joe Russo, Trombone Shorty, Susan Tedeschi, and Derek Trucks.
The event follows Dave Matthews Band’s sold-out two-night stint at Madison Square Garden on November 22 and November 23, promising an unforgettable evening of music and solidarity for communities in need. An online ticket presale for DMB Warehouse Fan Association members began on Tuesday, October 29, at 3:00 pm ET, while Warren Haynes Band fan presales started Thursday, October 31, at 10:00 am ET. General public sales open today, Friday, November 1, at 10:00 am ET.
Warren Haynes, whose Asheville, North Carolina, roots run deep, expressed his personal connection to the cause: “The damage and destruction caused by Hurricane Helene to my beloved home of Asheville and all of Western North Carolina has truly devastated me… I’m thrilled to partner with my good friends in Dave Matthews Band and so many other musician friends to bring ‘SOULSHINE’ to the iconic Madison Square Garden and help raise money for all those affected.”
Net proceeds from SOULSHINE will benefit the SOULSHINE Concert Fun at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation. The fund will direct support to Habitat for Humanity’s 2024 Hurricane Recovery efforts and other nonprofits providing direct aid in North Carolina and Florida. Newrez, a leading mortgage lender, had pledged $500,000 to assist with recovery efforts.
Known for their philanthropy and environmental efforts, Dave Matthews Band has raised over $65 million for various causes, planted five million trees, and was named Environmental Goodwill Ambassadors by the United Nations. The band was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and is one of the largest touring acts globally.
A GRAMMY-winning musician and legendary guitarist, Haynes is celebrated for his work with the Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, and The Dead. His annual Christmas Jam in Asheville has raised nearly $3 million for Habitat for Humanity, building over 50 homes in the community. His new solo album, Million Voices Whisper, released on November 1, 2024.
“SOULSHINE” is produced by Dayglo Presents in collaboration with Live Nation, with ticket and donation information available at SOULSHINEMSG.com. This concert promises to be an extraordinary night of music, community, and purpose, bringing together artists and fans to make a tangible difference.
