070 Shake unveils Petrichor album, shares “Elephant” video, and announces 2025 global tour

070 Shake has returned with her highly anticipated third album, Petrichor, released via Def Jam Recordings. Featuring a dynamic mix of hip-hop, dembow, R&B, and psychedelia, the album solidifies Shake’s reputation as an innovative force in contemporary music. Executive-produced by Shake and Dave Hamelin, Petrichor explores themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery, pushing creative boundaries with orchestral arrangements, acoustic instrumentation, and her signature experimental style.

Petrichor features 13 tracks that showcase Shake’s ability to blend personal storytelling with bold musical choices. Standouts include:

  • Song to the Siren,” a haunting cover featuring Courtney Love and Melissa Auf der Maur, marking their first collaboration since Hole.
  • Into Your Garden,” an ethereal collaboration with JT of City Girls.
  • Blood on Your Hands,” a raw and emotional duet with Lily-Rose Depp, who contributes spoken-word passages inspired by a personal letter.
  • Never Let Us Fade,” featuring Nashville’s Cam, blending Shake’s boundary-pushing style with country-infused euphoria.

The album also includes the previously released track “Winter Baby / New Jersey Blues,” accompanied by a cinematic video starring Shake and Lily-Rose Depp as star-crossed lovers.

To celebrate the album’s release, Shake has unveiled the music video for “Elephant,” a standout track that embodies the album’s emotional intensity and sonic innovation. Directed by Zoi Tatopoulous, the video showcases evocative choreography and a stunning guest appearance by dancer Violetta Komyshan. Filmed during “A Night At The Ballet” in Los Angeles, the visuals bring Petrichor to life through movement and artistic expression.

The album’s title, Petrichor, refers to the earthy aroma that follows a fresh rainfall. Shake describes this as a metaphor for finding beauty and renewal in life’s challenges. “It brings me to this part of myself where I feel oneness with everything I’ve ever been through,” she explains. The album reflects this theme, presenting her journey through love, loss, and introspection in a deeply personal way.

To further connect with fans, Shake has announced a 2025 headline tour spanning North America and Europe. Beginning January 21 in Atlanta, the tour will include stops in major markets such as Los Angeles, New York, Paris, and London. Presales begin November 18 for Cash App customers, with general fan presales starting November 19.
