On November 21st, 2024- Pistols at Dawn released a cover of “Last Christmas” with a video attached to it! This song made me want to cuddle with a loved one and drink hot chocolate while watching a Christmas movie during a snowstorm. I’ve fell in love with this band when I heard their song “Not Sorry” and I am not a Christmas person at all, but this song made me love the season finally. Jon’s soft vocals radiates joy and gives me a reason to love Christmas. If you want to listen to a holiday song with a hint of modern rock to it; this song is for you! The video also is very moody with candles burning giving that mysterious vibes of the holiday. Almost like this song should be playing when Santa Claus is visiting a house and sneaking around placing gifts.
