On November 20th, 2024- Dreamwake announced they signed to UNFD and also released their brand new single “Heatwave” that honestly gave me chills throughout the whole song. Dreamwake deserves this amazing opportunity because there are no words to describe them. Between the saxophone, the old vintage look in the video, the lyrics that are very relatable, and the whole production is insane. We will always have love for the Dreamwake guys because they are some of the most talented, genuine, and authentic individuals in the scene.

“You’re just a hollow shell of the person you’re pretending to be here; I can’t erase this monster” these lyrics I believe represents a person that is stuck in the past and at the moment; it’s almost like they are soulless and that their soul is stuck in a certain time frame that they can’t let go. “I can’t erase this monster” could mean that they can’t let go of their older self and it’s causing a turmoil internally.
