UK alt sensation bby drops “Pretty Boy, Pt. 2 (feat. Zino Vinci)”

bby, the breakout U.K. alternative band shaking up the indie scene, has released an emotive remix of their fan-favorite track, “Pretty Boy,” featuring East London rapper Zino Vinci. Aptly titled “Pretty Boy, Pt. 2,” the reimagined version turns the song into a poignant dialogue between friends, exploring the challenges of emotional vulnerability.

Known for their raw energy and sharp lyricism, bby collaborated with Zino Vinci to bring a deeper layer to the song. Vinci’s introspective verse seamlessly blends with the track’s alternative sound, transforming it into a soulful exchange. “It’s about those unspoken conversations—when your friends know you’re struggling but breaking the silence feels impossible,” the band shared.

Zino Vinci, a Nigerian-German artist raised in East London, has garnered attention for his blend of melody, hip-hop, and alternative rap. His thoughtful lyricism and smooth flow, showcased in his EP TFL Blues, have earned him accolades from platforms like Complex UK and Wonderland.

2024 has been a whirlwind for the East London quartet bby. Their debut album, 1, was a critical triumph, earning praise from major outlets like Rolling Stone and NME, and securing a spot in Zane Lowe’s coveted “24 Artists for 2024” list. The band also broke into the Top 20 Alternative Radio Charts in the U.S., with their track “Kinky” featured during Apple’s global keynote.

Beyond studio success, bby has cultivated a dedicated fanbase through their electric live shows. Selling out venues like the Colour Factory and hosting DIY-style performances at their East London HQ, the band channels the unbridled energy of punk-house parties. Their debut festival run this past summer included appearances at Leeds Festival, All Points East, and Pitchfork Paris.

bby’s journey began online, where the members connected through their shared love for gritty innovative music. After transitioning to in-person jam sessions at their London HQ, they developed a signature sound that blends indie rock, punk, and alternative styles. The result?
