Chuck Ragan takes tales of LOVE AND LORE on the road in 2025

Beloved folk troubadour, punk pioneer, and fly-fishing aficionado Chuck Ragan is hitting the road once again. Following the release of his critically acclaimed album, Love and Lore, Ragan embarks on a highly anticipated East Coast tour in spring 2025. The journey begins March 18 in Richmond, VA, and winds through iconic cities like Boston, New York, Montreal, and Chicago, culminating in Columbus, Ohio, on April 6.

Tickets became available this past Friday, December 13, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can find tour dates and venues listed below.

“I’m extremely pleased to share this new music and record Love and Lore with the world,” says Ragan. “This collection of songs dives deep into reflection, solitude, and companionship through the highs and lows of day-to-day simple living.”

The record has been met with rave reviews. Americana UK awarded it a 9/10, praising its blend of raw punk energy with refined folk melodies. Classic Rock lauded Ragan’s expressive solo work as “truly memorable,” while New Noise called it “Ragan’s best work since Covering Ground,” highlighting its soul-stirring impact.

From fiery rock anthems like “Wild in Our Ways” to acoustic campfire ballads such as “Waiting Out the Storm” and the emotive duet “One More Shot” featuring Paige Overton, Love and Lore showcases Ragan’s versatility and heart.

Years in the making, the album’s creation began in 2016, with recording finally resuming in earnest in 2022. Between family life, his fly-fishing business, and unexpected hurdles (including a tree falling on guitarist Todd Beene’s house), Ragan poured his soul into the project.

Released via Rise Records, Love and Lore is a testament to perseverance and artistic evolution. “This album explores new sonic territory while staying true to the honesty and integrity that define my music,” says Ragan.
