Faux Real embarks on North American headline tour with creatively daring live shows

Faux Real, the visionary Franco-America art-pop duo comprised of brothers Virgile and Elliott Arndt, are bringing their boundary-pushing, genre-blending live show to North America in early 2025. Known for their flamboyant performances and unorthodox sound, Faux Real will headline clubs across the continent starting February 8 in Austin, Texas, before concluding on March 1 in New York City. Tickets hit the market last Friday, December 13, at 10 a.m. local time.

To herald their highlight anticipated tour, Faux Real has unveiled a dynamic new music video for their fan-favorite track, “Walking Away From My Demons.” The video, crafted from footage shot during their 2024 European and U.K. tour, offers a raw glimpse into the unbridled energy of a Faux Real show. Captured through the lenses of audience members, the band themselves, and videographer Ted Kayumba, the footage mirrors the duo’s live ethos: sweaty, euphoric, absurd, and unforgettably.

“This video was shot over some 20 shows on tour between May and June 2024,” the brothers shared. “It reflects what a Faux Real show feels like: glamorous, disgusting, sexual, sacred. Please enjoy responsibly and see you in the pit at the Faux Ever Tour next year.”

Released earlier this year via City Slang Records, Faux Real’s debut album, Faux Ever, has earned praise for its high-camp, genre-defying sound. The record seamlessly blends Euro-dance, synthpop, post-punk, and glam rock, creating an immersive sonic journey. Tracks like “Full Circle,” “Hi Tension,” and “Rent Free” showcase their talent for catchy vocal melodies layered over ultra-digital production.

“Our sound has never been more personal,” says Virgile Arndt. “Faux Ever reflects on art, brotherhood, authenticity, faults, and triumphs.”

The North American leg of the Faux Ever tour will deliver their distinctive mix of post-punk, glam rock, and absurdist performance art to intimate venues across the U.S. and Canada.
