Faroe Islands-based folk metal collective TÝR is ready to return to North American stages this Winter with a second leg of their Battle Ballads tour! Kicking off on February 13 in Brooklyn, New York, and wrapping up on March 5 in Joliet, Illinois, the tour promises to deliver an electrifying experience for fans across the continent. Joining TÝR on the road once again will be the talented Æther Realm, ensuring that fans will be treated to an unforgettable night of metal.
TÝR vocalist and guitarist Heri Joensen shared his excitement for the upcoming tour, addressing the many requests the band received after their last North American run. “If it were only up to us, the band, we’d play for you all, everywhere, in a heartbeat, if only we could,” Joensen said. “On our last North American run, we got a lot of requests about playing in this and that city that was not on our route. We’re very happy that this time we get to do a second round visiting a lot of those cities that our dear fans requested.” He also mentioned the return of the VIP upgrade experience, which was well received during the previous tour, allowing fans to enjoy an intimate acoustic show and hang out with the band.
