Fans of the groundbreaking alternative band Soul Coughing have reason to celebrate. Following the success of their first tour in 25 years, the group has announced two monumental events for 2025: the release of their first-ever official live album, Live 2024, and a 14-city North American tour.

Set to drop on Friday, April 4, 2025, Live 2024 captures the electrifying energy of the band’s Soul Coughing Play the Songs of Soul Coughing tour. This 21-track album, recorded during the sold-out 17-city run in 2024, brings fans closer to the band’s unique fusion of jazz, rock, and electronic influences.

The tracklist spans highlights from their career, featuring hits like “Super Bon Bon,” “Circles,” and “Screenwriter’s Blues” alongside deep cuts that showcase their innovative sound. Due to overwhelming demand, Soul Coughing will return to the stage in 2025 with their Soul Coughing Play the Song of Soul Coughing Again tour. The reunited original lineup—Mark degli Antoni (keyboards/sampler), Mike Doughty (vocals/guitar), Yuval Gabay (drums), and Sebastian Steinberg (bass)—will once again delve into their genre-defying catalog, from 1994’s Ruby Vroom to 1998’s El Oso.

The tour kicks off on April 9 in Memphis, TN, and concludes on April 26 in Port Chester, NY.
