Acorn’s acoustic renditions reveal a raw, emotional depth, allowing her powerful voice and vulnerable lyricism to shine. Speaking about the project, Taylor shared, “‘Greener’ has been one of those songs that has just gotten me through. I needed to write it, I needed to feel it, and I know there are two versions already, but I am a sucker for an acoustic. There’s something so sweet and uplifting about it, and I’m really excited for everyone to her it.”

Taylor Acorn has become a force to be reckoned with in the alternative music scene, drawing comparisons to early 2000s icons like Avril Lavigne and Amy Lee. Her debut, Survival in Motion, was a stellar introduction into the scene, earning Acorn a dedicated fanbase and widespread critical acclaim. Looking ahead to 2025, Acorn is destined for seismic growth, with her current trajectory, she is poised to become a cornerstone in female-fronted pop punk.

Growing up in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, Taylor Acorn’s passion for music was deeply rooted in the pop-punk and pop-rock of the early 2000s. After dropping out of Kutztown University in 2014, she moved to Nashville in 2017 to chase her musical dreams. Her journey has been one of growth and self-expression, with releases like “Psycho,” “Certified Depressant,” and “Shapeshifting” resonating deeply with fans.

Taylor’s music tackles complex themes like mental health and battling through adversity, offering her listeners a safe space to heal and connect. As she puts it, her goal is to provide “a place where healing is accepted no matter who you are or where you’ve come from.”

In 2024, Taylor toured extensively across the U.S. and Australia, winning hearts and gaining recognition in the alternative music community. Her acoustic EP marks a moment of reflection and connection, stripping back her sound to its emotional core.
