In a groundbreaking collaboration, genre-bending artist Kim Dracula and Harajuku-core pioneers HANABIE. have unveiled plans for a massive 2025 co-headline tour across North America. This 24-date journey, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on March 5 in Montreal, QC, at MTELUS and conclude on April 12 in Sacramento, CA, at Ace of Spades. Joining them on this electrifying tour are special guests Kaonashi on all dates and Crystal Lake for select performances.
Both HANABIE. and Kim Dracula are known for their genre-defying sounds and captivating live shows. HANABIE., a Tokyo-based all-girl rock band, fuses metalcore with Japanese pop culture influences, creating a vibrant yet heavy aesthetic. Kim Dracula, renowned for their dark, theatrical style and ability to blend metal, industrial, and jazz, will bring a chaotic yet captivating element to the tour.
The announcement follows successful headline tours by both artists earlier this year, reflecting their growing influence and global reach.
HANABIE. continues to break boundaries with the release of their latest EP Bucchigiri Tokyo and the music video for “Ito Okashi My Type” on December 4. Tracks like “OTAKU Lovely Densetsu” and “Metamorphose!” have collectively racked up millions of views and streams, further solidifying their international fanbase. Their meteoric rise saw them perform as the first Japanese women to grace the main stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago this past August.
Kim Dracula, meanwhile, contributed to the concept album for Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis’ musical Warriors in 2024, voicing the villain Luther alongside musical heavyweights such as Nas, Busta Rhymes, and Ms. Lauryn Hill. With new music on the horizon for 2025, Kim Dracula promises to keep pushing creative boundaries.
