US-Argentinian indie pop duo Aerolinea is admist their first South American tour, supporting their debut album ‘All We Need,’ which was released in November 2023 via My Long Wknd Records. The tour kicked off January 10 in Buenos Aires and takes the band through Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
The duo, comprising Argentinian artist Victoria Real and Eric Weissinger of Atlanta dream-gaze project I Am a Rocketship, crafted their eight-track debut through long-distance collaboration. The album features guest appearances from Failure drummer Kellii Scott and showcases the diverse musical backgrounds of both artists – Real studied under King Crimson’s Robert Fripp, while Weissinger has extensive experience with I Am a Rocketship and Anne Richmond Boston.
Singles “What Moves You” and “Nervous” have helped establish the band’s presence, with both tracks receiving accompanying music videos – “What Moves You” directed by cinematographer Nico Purdía, and “Nervous” exploring themes of isolation and connection.
