After years of anticipation, platinum-selling indie-rock quartet The Walters have officially announced their debut album, Good Company, set for release on March 28. The announcement comes alongside the release of their brand-new single, “Life On The Line,” available now on all streaming platforms.

The new single showcases The Walters’ signature warm, nostalgic melodies, with lead vocalist Luke Olson delivering an earnest reflection on taking a leap of faith in love: “If I’m going / I’m going in blind / With my life on the line.” The song, co-written by Adam Melchor and Doug Schadt and produced by Schadt (Maggie Rogers, Wet), embodies the band’s signature blend of heartfelt lyricism and vintage pop influences.

Alongside the single, the band has also released an official music video, directed by Véra Haddad (Andy Shauf, Florist), which is now streaming on The Walters’ official YouTube channel.

“From the start, our dream has always been to release a full-length album,” the band shared. “It may have taken 10 years, but we truly believe we’ve created something special—for you and for us. Good Company captures the heart of this journey, and ‘Life On The Line’ is just the beginning.”

The album, now available for preorder, promises a dynamic mix of musical escapism, drawing influences from classic vocal harmonies (The Beach Boys, The Four Tops), introspective folk songwriting (Neil Young), and modern indie-rock swagger (Dr. Dog, The Strokes).

In support of Good Company, The Walters will be joining half•alive on their upcoming North American tour, kicking off on March 28 at House of Blues in San Diego, CA. The 24-date trek will take through major U.S. and Canadian cities, including stops at Brooklyn Paramount in NYC (April 12) and Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles (May 2).
