On February 7, 2025, New England native and rising country music sensation, Stephanie Ryann, released her latest single “Both Ends of a Cigarette.” The single was co-written with Paige Davis and produced by Brent Rader in Nashville.

“This song explores the internal struggle of someone trying to move on from a past relationship, but they are stuck in a cycle of self destructive behavior, relying on temporary fixes to numb the pain of regret,” Ryann tells The Concert Chronicles. In fact, the song was rewritten three times to perfectly portray that all-too-real feeling of emptiness and trying to fill the void.

Ryann’s journey is as compelling as her sound. Transitioning from a volunteer firefighter to a fashion model and now a country artist with a sound that’s uniquely her own. Since her debut with “I Should” in 2019, Ryann has been featured on multiple country music outlets, including CMT, and has amassed hundreds of thousands of streams with a dedicated following from Tennessee to Maine.
