Archers dropped a new track last week, and it’s a good one. Whenever an artist starts dropping new singles, that usually means we can expect a new album or EP sometime soon. While I haven’t seen any official news for when that’ll happen, you should keep this band on your radar. Since the first time they blew me away at a live show, they’ve been growing nonstop and aren’t slowing down.
With strong, powerhouse vocals that cut clean, growls paired with heavy drums, and intense guitar riffs, Archers are a force to be reckoned with in the metalcore-pop music scene. The energy they bring to live shows definitely matches the ferocity of just blasting their tracks at home.
“Never Enough” hooks listeners with a repetitive beat in the opening before jumping into gripping lyrics. My favorite lines occur when it transitions over to the gritty vocal screams because it flows so well. I personally think sometimes bands don’t know how to keep that as a smooth transition and it sounds rocky, which for this musical genre, works. However, I like being able to hear it just move over without a super JOLT surprise of an “ARGHH” sound.
This is such a good release and it makes me so excited to see what Archers will bring us next. They’re currently on tour in support of Catch You Breath, so grab a ticket if you haven’t already. I highly recommend catching them live—not to mention, Catch Your Breath puts on an impressive show as well.
