Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are set to release their collaborative album, “I Said I Love You First,” on March 21, 2025, through Interscope Records.
Selena Gomez, a GRAMMY®-nominated, multi-Platinum recording artist, and Benny Blanco, GRAMMY® nominated multi-Platinum artist, record producer and songwriter, have teamed up for their first project together as a couple. On February 13, 2025, they shared a taste of the album, releasing the lead single, “Scared of Loving You,” along with an official audio video.

Written by Gomez, Blanco, and 8X GRAMMY® winner FINNEAS, “I Said I Love You First” marks Gomez’s highly anticipated return to music after a three-year long break since her last single, “My Mind and Me.” The song, produced by Blanco and FINNEAS, reflects Gomez’s evolution as an artist, highlighting her captivating storytelling and desire to become more vulnerable with her music, along with the people around her.
The upcoming album serves as a celebration of the couple’s love story, offering fans a unique opportunity into their relationship. The unique and personal project draws from their real life experiences, spanning many years before they met each other to falling in love and fantasizing about what their future with one another might hold. The album came together organically and authentically, inspired by their creative comfort and chemistry.
