“Better” is an emotional and heartfelt track! “Better” pulled at my heart strings instantly and it made me sit back while listening to the track taking in all the emotions within the raspy and deep vocals of the artist. You can sense sadness, regret, and hopefulness all at once which makes this track so dynamic and versatile. “Better” is an anthem song for those who experience heartbreak and stuck in that mindset of wondering if the person ever still thinks about them and why this happened in the first place. “Better” is very mellow with a slight of harshness to it because as the song progresses; you realize as the listener sometimes its better to let go and know you are the problem that caused so much hurt to another person. “Better” is a self discovery track in my opinion that helps the listener understand that mistakes happen, but sometimes its better to just leave and let everything stay in the past.
