Milwaukee Metal Fest is back with a vengeance, and the 2025 lineup is fiercer than ever. Taking place at The Rave/Eagles Ballroom from May 16-18, with a pre-party on May 15, the festival continues to solidify its place as a cornerstone of the Midwest metal scene. Tickets are available now, and fans are buzzing with excitement over the newly announced lineup changes and additions.

Originally set to feature German thrash metal legends Destruction, the festival faced a shake-up when the band had to withdraw from the lineup. Stepping in to save the day are American thrash icons Death Angel, promising an electrifying set that will undoubtedly tear down The Rave. With a reputation for blistering live shows and a catalog of trash anthems, Death Angel is sure to be a highlight of the weekend.

The surprises don’t stop there. Milwaukee Metal Fest has also added an all-star S.O.D. Tribute featuring Scott Ian, Dan Lilker, Jamey Jasta, and Revel Ian, paying homage to the legendary Stormtroopers of Death. This once-in-a-lifetime performance is expected to bring back the hardcore punk-meets-trash chaos that defined an era.

Additional heavy-hitters joining the lineup include sludge legends EYEHATEGOD, doom pioneers, Pentagram, crossover thrashers Toxic Holocaust, stoner metal icons Bongzilla, technical death metal masters Revocation, rising deathcore act Ov Sulfur, and the old-school death metal project Left To Die. Also joining the mayhem are horror-punk favorites The Lurking Corpses, rounding out an already stacked lineup.
