Metalcore giants Memphis May Fire are gearing up for a massive 2025 with the announcement of their upcoming album Shapeshifter, set for release on March 28 via Rise Records. With the album already earning critical acclaim from outlets such as SPIN, New Noise, and Idobi, anticipation is at an all-time high.
To give fans a taste of what’s to come, the band—comprised of Matty Mullins (vocals), Kellen McGregor (guitar), Cory Elder (bass), and Jake Garland (drums)—has just dropped the official music video for their latest single, “The Other Side.”
Frontman Matty Mullins describes “The Other Side” as a song of perseverance and hope. “It’s for anyone who’s ever felt trapped in their own pain, unsure if they’ll ever break through,” he explains. “But there’s always something beyond the darkness, another side to the pain, a breakthrough waiting to happen. This song is a reminder that even in our lowest moments, we’re not alone, and the light is closer than we think.”

In support of Shapeshifter, Memphis May Fire will hit the road in April 2025 for a headline tour with special guests Caskets, Wind Walkers, and Elijah. The tour will span across the United States, including stops at major festivals Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville.
