On February 27th, 2025– Pop Punk Trio; Air Drawn Dagger released their newest single “Sanctifound” with a video as well! I’ve never personally heard of this band before, so I gave them a listen and I automatically knew this band was not from the states because a band that sounds like this is usually from the UK, Australia, or Sweden! The vocalist; Maisie gave me a darker version of Paramore vibes and I can’t believe I slept on this band because I am all for female fronted bands. Maisie is such a powerhouse of a vocalist with a hint of melodic to it that gives a softer tone to the single at times.

The band says about “Sanctifound”: “Keeping the acoustic guitar for the intro riff (inspired by Lamb of God) catapults us into a realm which is intense, rainy and unsettling. We are introduced to the album’s protagonists ‘The Martyrs’ and welcomed with open arms, we are indoctrinated into the fold, warned against evil in the lake and thrust into the mosh pits as the synths and riffs hit hard”
