The “UNSAID” tour: Jessica Baio brings love and energy to Toronto

Selling-out tickets for Toronto’s show, Jessica Baio brought love and energy to fans at The Axis Club Theater during “The UNSAID” tour. Dressed in a black leather strapless top, sequence leopard shorts, and black leather boots, Baio glowed all over the stage.

Opening the show with “Bite the Bullet,” fans, including myself, immediately started screaming lyrics as we were all ecstatic for the concert. Baio was extremely energetic and engaging with the crowd, even taking some fans’ cellphones and recording herself while singing—warming the hearts of many young girls and filling them with excitement.

Throughout Baio’s set, she had asked if there were any Taylor Swift fans in the audience and she performed a short medley of popular Taylor Swift songs. The first cover song being “You Belong With Me,” followed by “I Knew You Were Trouble,” along with the third song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” and ended the tribute with “Blank Space.”

Performing a mix of old and new songs, Baio also included a couple of unreleased songs for her fans. Finishing her set off with her song “Someday,” a 2023 single release, she left the fans wanting more. Returning to the stage for a one-song encore, she brought out her beautiful blue electric guitar to assist her in playing her last song of the night, “Trust Issues,” before leaving the Axis Club stage for the final time.

Jessica Baio’s very first single release, “World Record,” was released in 2020, and she continued releasing music year after year. Three-years later, Baio released her first album Catalyst on March 10, 2023. Not long after that album, Baio released another two EPs, Ghost and Bad Tattoo, also in 2023, followed by her next EP Petals in early 2024. Baio then put out a string of singles through 2024 after her Petals album, and eventually released another album, UNSAID, on November 1, 2024. Her latest single release was in 2025, featuring Trippie Redd, Jessica Baio & KABU called “Radio.”

Duo married couple, Dani and Colton, known by their name Ni/Co, brought their powerhouse vocals and everything they had to The Axis Club Theater stage. Singing some of their original songs mixed in with some covers, they were very excited to open for Jessica Baio and had so much fun on the stage. Getting fans prepared for the show everyone has been waiting for, Ni/Co was raising the energy bar to the roof, just like arena artists.

Singing their first cover, “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Ellish, they hit all the high notes as if the song was their own. Continuing their set with their song “Stupid.,” along with another cover of Ariana Grande’s song “We Can’t be Friends,” Dani sang that like a champion. Closing their set out with a couple of their original songs, including “Hell With,” their latest release from March 7, 2025, and “On Purpose,” which they wrote for their wedding. Singing those songs last, was a great choice for Ni/Co, because it helped show the audience how great they are, not only as an artist duo but also as a married couple.
