UFEST dates back to the mid-’90s when KUPD Red Card were a staple among Valley rock fans. Over the years, ti has evolved into one of the most anticipated rock events in Arizona. As Ben Hartman, KUPD’s marketing and promotions director, stated in 2024, UFEST is designed to cater to a broad audience of rock enthusiasts.

Beyond the music, UFEST 2025 offers unique experience for attendees. Mesa’s iconic StarFighters Arcade will set up a Retro Arcade Village at the festival, featuring classic arcade games. Fans can look forward to playing vintage favorites, including the Aerosmith-inspired shooter “Revolution X” and the 1983 coin-op classic featuring Journey.
