On March 20th, 2025- dead7 signed to SharpTones and released their newest single “Blur” with a video alongside it! This single reminds me of a song that belongs in a very haunting movie such as House on Haunted Hill with how emotive, dark, and luring this track makes the listener feel. This single has such an emotional turbulence to it between the breakdowns, distorted riffs, and the electronic vocals giving that extra robotic sound that makes us truly understand the meaning behind the lyrics. As the song progressed; it gives me vibes of a person who is stuck in a world of everything falling apart and they basically have to live life everyday the same way not knowing if the next day will be the end of it all or continuing being in misery. This single is very compressed which indicates maybe the mental struggle of someone constantly living in a world of unhappiness and having to be on that fight or flight mode everyday.
