The Austin Blues Festival returns April 26 & 27 to Waterloo Park to celebrate Antone’s 50th

The Austin Blues Festival originated in 1999 when Clifford Antone, founder of the world renowned Antone’s Nightclub, hosted it’s first “Antone’s Blues Festival” at Waterloo Park. The event showcased some of his favorite artists—too large to play at his downtown venue—Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker and Ray Charles, just to name a few.

Austin’s Home of the Blues, Antone’s, is now celebrating it’s 50th anniversary by bringing the Blues back, once again, with a powerful lineup of artists from around the country and the world, for two days of music at the 5,000-seat Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park.
