Heart Attack Man announce new single, album, & headlining tour

Decade veterans of punk rock, trio Heart Attack Man has released their brand-new single “Joyride the Pale Horse,” the title track from their upcoming fourth studio album, out April 25 via Many Hats Distribution. Accompanied by an official music video, the new single delivers a driving blend of emo-tinged punk and existential reflection, further showcasing the band’s sharpened songwriting and sonic evolution.

“This song ended up really feeling like the combination of all the ideas and feelings present throughout the album; hence why it’s the title track, and why it felt fitting to have it be the closer,” said frontman Eric Egan. “Ironically enough, it was the first song written for the album. In many ways, it set a lot of the energy into motion.”

Egan added that the album revolves around abstract yet deeply personal themes, exploring life, death, and the space in between. “‘Joyride the Pale Horse’ sounds biblical. I’m making all these different allusions to death, but I’m not referencing it outright,” he said.

The full album is now available for pre-order through heartattackman.com, featuring two exclusive vinyl variants and limited-edition merchandise.

Heart Attack Man is gearing up to take Joyride the Pale Horse on the road in 2025 with a robust international tour schedule. After a spring support run in Australia with Dear Seattle and a stop at Slam Dunk Festival in the U.K., the band will launch their headlining “Joyride The U.S. & Toronto & Also Vancouver Tour” on June 4 in Pittsburgh. The tour features support from The Dirty Nil, carpool, and Dear Seattle, with stops in cities including Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Toronto, and Austin.

Tickets for all upcoming dates are available now at heartattackman.com.

ABOUT HEART ATTACK MAN

Formed in Cleveland, Ohio, Heart Attack Man blends pop-punk energy with existential themes and post-hardcore edge. The band—Eric Egan (vocals, guitar), Adam Paduch (drums), and Ty Sickels (guitar)—has steadily built a cult following through their emotionally charged lyrics, raw performances, and relentless touring.

Since debuting in 2014, they’ve released standout projects including The Manson Family, Fake Blood, and the Thoughts & Prayerz Ep, followed by 2023’s Freak of Nature. Joyride the Pale Horse was recorded with longtime producer Brett Romnes at The Barbershop studio in New Jersey and draws sonic influence from Hum, Failure, Type O Negative, and Quicksand. The album’s thematic centerpiece and final track, “Joyride the Pale Horse,” closes out what the band calls their most complete and introspective project to date.
