HARDY is loading up for a massive summer. The genre-blending country-rock heavyweight just announced his new EP, COUNTRY!, set for release on May 2 via Big Loud Records. Fans won’t have to wait to hear what’s next—two new tracks, “Favorite Country Song” and “Buck On The Wall,” dropped today.
“This one’s for the roots,” HARDY says of the EP. “These songs are a tribute to my deer camp—where I became who I am. It’s the only piece of ‘home’ I’ve got left now, and I wanted to get back to that place musically.”
The Mississippi-born hitmaker is also gearing up for another career milestone: his first-ever Grand Ole Opry performance on April 29, a long-awaited debut on one of country music’s most hallowed stages.
The new music arrives just weeks before the kickoff of HARDY’s “JIM BOB World Tour,” an ambitious globe-spanning trek that runs through September with arena stops in Los Angeles at Kia Forum, Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena, and New York City at the iconic Madison Square Garden. Internationally, he’ll be hitting the stages across Europe and the U.K., including high-profile festival slots at Copenhell, Pinkpop, and Graspop.
Joining HARDY on select dates are frequent collaborators and rising stars Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr., and McCoy Moore—each bringing their own flavor to an already explosive live show.
This new chapter follows a record-breaking run. HARDY’s 2023 LP Quit!! topped charts and pushed boundaries, while his first-ever live album, HARDY (Live From Red Rocks), dropped earlier this year alongside an Amazon Music exclusive featuring reimagined hits and a bold cover of The 1975. He’s amassed over 6 million streams, scored 16 No. 1 singles, and snagged multiple ACM, CMA, and BMI awards—all while rewriting the rules of what country music can sound like.
From the backwoods of Philadelphia, Mississippi, to the biggest stages on Earth, HARDY continues to walk the line between tradition and rebellion, delivering music that hits as hard as his lyrics do.
