This weekend, Half Alive made a stop in the city of Boston on their “Persona” world tour, bringing along with them American singer-songwriter mehro. Originally from Manhattan Beach, the 25-year-old California native began their takeoff in 2020 with the release of their debut single “perfume“. A year later, their first album, consisting of seven tracks, Sky on Fire, was put out via Heroine Music Group LLC. One of those tracks happens to be mehro’s top song, “chance with you,” amassing over 100 million streams on Spotify.
Friday, the artist got to showcase their talent at Roadrunner as the first performance of the night. Bringing their mixture of indie, pop, and soft rock to the stage, they played songs from their 2023 album, Dark Corners and Alchemy, including “pirate song” and “pretty kids.” Last on the setlist was their newest release, “You’re So Pretty.” The crowd took this moment to dance along and enjoy being present with one another.

You could tell that mehro truly cares about and appreciates their fans, as they spent the majority of the show after their set at the merch table, meeting people and handing out free posters to a select bunch. If you haven’t already: go check out mehro and their newest album, “Trauma Lullabies,” now!
