Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter and author MARINA has officially announced her sixth studio album, Princess of Power, set for release on June 6 via Queenie Records/BMG. The announcement arrives alongside the release of a bold new single, “CUNTISSIMO,” now available on all major streaming platforms.

Following the success of previous singles “CUPID’S GIRL” and “BUTTERFLY,” MARINA’s new track leans fully into themes of power, sexuality, and self-ownership, solidifying this era as one of her most unapologetically fierce to date.
“So often, women don’t think they’re allowed to feel their sexuality in a way that doesn’t involve how it looks for men,” MARINA says. “They feel that it’s been co-opted. I would love to be able to free younger women of that—the feeling that our bodies don’t quite belong to us.”
The single, described as a “long song to independence,” features references to cultural icons and is paired with a visually arresting music video directed by Olivia de Camps.
Fans can watch MARINA’s first live performance of the new single tonight on the Coachella main Stage at 5:40 p.m., where she’ll also return for Weekend 2 on April 18. Additional festival dates include:
- April 11 – Coachella – Indio, CA
- April 18 – Coachella – Indio, CA
- June 6 – World Pride – Washington, D.C.
- June 7 – Governors Ball – New York, NY
- June 13 – Bonnaroo – Manchester, TN
- Aug. 2 – Lollapalooza – Chicago, IL
- Aug. 3 – Osheaga – Montreal, QC

Princess of Power marks MARINA’s first full-length release since Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land (2021). The album is currently available for pre-order or pre-save in digital, CD, and vinyl formats.
Anchored in themes of liberation, feminine rage, and mystical glam, the record is expected to expand MARINA’s musical palette while staying true to her signature lyrical sharpness and lush melodies.
MARINA rose to global prominence in 2009 and has since release five critically acclaimed albums, including the chart-topping Electra Heart (2012), FROOT (2015), Love + Fear (2019), and Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land (2021). Known for her poetic songwriting and powerful visuals, she’s garnered a fiercely loyal fan base and sold out headline tours across the U.S. and Europe.
