On April 18th, 2025– Harrisburg, PA metalcore band What Lies Below released their newest single “The Silence We Keep” via Theoria Records with an official music video as well. As you listen to the single; you can sense sadness through the lyrics of watching a love slowly disappear and Andrew executes the vocals bringing those lyrics to life allowing the listener to be able to resonate if they experienced this same situation. Throughout the single; there is heavier and clean vocals which could indicate emotional turmoil within the person. The cleans represent the hope of being able to move on and understand that sometimes the love you might want to last will not. And the heavier vocals could indicate the anger the person is feeling for allowing the love to slip away and that there should’ve been more done to keep the love strong. “The Silence We Keep” vocal delivery gives atmospheric depth to the single that truly showcases the diversity of What Lies Below and who they are as musicians.
