Turnstile announces new album ‘Never Enough,’ share title track and music video

After four yers of near-silence on the album front, Turnstile is back and louder than ever. The genre-defying hardcore trailblazers have officially announced their highly anticipated new record, Never Enough, set for release on June 6 via Turnstile’s official store.

Alongside the announcement, the band dropped the album’s title track, a surging, urgent anthem that’s already igniting fans online. The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Turnstile’s own Brendan Yates and Pat McCrory— watch it here and stream the track here.

A soft blue sky with faint rainbow arcs visible in the background.

“Never Enough,” the title track from Turnstile’s upcoming album, surges forward with raw conviction, blending emotional integrity with sonic innovation. Opening with layered guitar tones and ethereal synth lines, the song immediately establishes a sense of surrealism-coated confessions. Turnstile leans more melodic alternative-rock within this track, however their rough edges still remain in their organic soundscapes, but this time with an even more polished production touch—approaching the lyricism with a sense of gossamery refined by clarity. The track feels both personal yet universally introspective, capturing a mood that’s simultaneously explosive and searching.

Lyrically, “Never Enough” grapples with the internal push-and-pull of desire, discontent, and emotional burnout. The chorus—delivered with Brendan Yates’ trademark ugency—echoes a familiar modern dilemma: the endless chase for fulfillment in a world that always demands more. There’s a tension between vulnerability and defiance, as if the narrator is caught in the cycle of wanting to let go but not knowing how. It’s an anthem for those who feel like they’re constantly moving but never arriving, and Turnstile captures that feeling with both directness and nuance.

What makes “Never Enough” stand out is its ability to evolve Turnstile’s sound without losing the visceral punch fans expect. The track pushes the band further into experimental territory—layering synths, textured guitars, and dynamic vocal shifts—yet remains grounded in gritty roots. It’s a bold statement of growth, signaling that Turnstile isn’t afraid to test new waters sonically. “Never Enough” feels like a song that understands the cost of ambition, but plays loud enough to drown it out—if only for three cathartic minutes.
