On April 21st, 2025– I interviewed a metalcore band from Estonia and this interview was the earliest one I’ve ever done because there’s a 7 hour difference between Estonia and the states. This interview had to be one of my favorite ones I’ve done in a long time because I learned a lot of about their country as well as the music scene over there which gave us insight about how much bands can struggle when they create music that is abstract. We spoke about their newest release “Endless” and how the band personally thinks that this single might be the weakest one by far and I politely in the interview had to disagree with them. “Endless” was my first impression of the band and between the production of the music video as well as the overall sound; I thought this band had larger numbers and to find out that Estonia’s metal/metalcore scene is basically growing right now. And that it’s impossible at times to perform shows because there are three to four spots bands can play, but that’s really about it and If they play those spots again, it will cause oversaturation in the scene.
