On April 24th, 2025- Silverstein performed at the Charleston Music Hall on their “25 Years of Noise” tour with special guests: Greyhaven, Broadside, and Real Friends. I love the Charleston Music Hall and it’s the perfect venue for special tours like this because everyone is phenomenal at this venue. The security is always on point with making sure everyone is safe, the bartender’s makes the best drinks, and the overall atmosphere of this venue is memorable. The venue was filled with so many different generations and that’s what music is all about.
The band is celebrating “25 Years of Noise” and they recently released their newest album “Antibloom” and later this year the second part of this album will be released called “Pink Moon” via UNFD!

Finally it was Silverstein’s turn on stage! I saw this band I believe in 2023 when they did their 10 year anniversary tour. I actually drove 5 hours to Atlanta, GA for that show because that was one of my first major shows I did as a photographer. Being able to see them was nostalgic and to watch this band perform again showed me that years of dedication will only bring success. You can see the success in the room honestly. The crowd was filled with people wearing vintage Silverstein shirts and you even saw little kids rocking out with their parents. Before the band went onto the stage; they had visuals playing on the stage showing us 25 years of Silverstein basically and the voice over spoke about how no one had faith in this band and no matter what this band didn’t stop. The band performed at shows that you can count the amount of attendees with your fingers which shows dedication and bands nowadays needs to honestly listen to the beginning of the set. Bands think that because only 5 people show up to a show that it’s not worth it, but those 5 people that showed up means that they relate to your music or they might just want to listen to a new band. The amount of attendees does not dictate your success. Dedication and creating relatable music brings success. You can see during the visuals the band playing in small rooms, Vans Warped Tour, and even arena size rooms. Silverstein is the true definition of commitment to music.

The crowd went ballistic when the band went on stage! I believe the band opened up with “Skin & Bones” , but I am not to sure! For a band that has been doing this for 25 years, I was not expecting the amount of explosive energy by each musician because as bands get older; they tend to slow down, but not Silverstein. You would think these guys were their younger selves with the amount of energy they provided on stage. The attendees at the barricade embraced that energy and gave it right back with screaming along to every lyric. When they started to play “Confession“, I sung my heart out because this song is so emotionally drenched with early 2000’s vibes and it allowed me as an attendee to fully let out all my emotions through singing. This song might be different compared to other singles this band created, but this shows how diverse and dynamic Silverstein truly is with the creative aspect of creating relatable music for their fans. Silverstein also performed “The Altar/Mary” from the album “Misery Made Me” that was released in 2022. I believe this was the song one of the musicians went on the portable stage platform and sung a part of the song solo and it honestly gave me so many chills because he sounded exactly like on album.

What a memorable night. I am a 31 year old woman who’s been listening to this music for so many years and to see a band consistently stay true to themselves and creates music for the new generation as well as the older generation to enjoy; it speaks volumes.
