Today, Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Wayne announced his first-ever headlining show at Madison Square Garden, set for Friday, June 6, 2025. The special performance will coincide with the release of his highly anticipated album Tha Carter VI, giving fans an exclusive first listen to the new music live in New York City. I wish I still lived in New York because to be able to listen to this anticipated album live before anyone else would’ve been a memorable night full of creating new memories. I feel like as one of the top rap idols in this industry; Lil Wayne has never lost his motivation and dedication to keep creating music after all these years. True artist’s don’t lose motivation. They strive off of those moments of thinking what else can they possibly release and then they create something cathartic.
