The countdown to summer’s most electrifying start is on! From May 22 to May 25, the Stella Maris Lagoon in Umag will once again transform into the ultimate festival playground as Sea Star Festival returns for its seventh edition—and it’s gearing up to be the biggest yet.
Leading this year’s high-octane lineup is the newly announced Sea Star Gang, spearheaded by the Balkan queen herself, Senidah, and the hit-making powerhouse Grše. Together, with a ferocious trap squad featuring 30zona, Peki, Baks, Micka Lifa, Špiro & Tej, and Thicc Boi, they’ll take over the Nautilus Arena with beats that promise to ignite the night.
Meanwhile, on the Tesla Main Stage, the atmosphere will soar to new heights with the festival’s previously announced headliners. Two-time Eurovision winner Loreen brings her global pop spectacle, Indira Paganotto fuels the psytechno fire fresh off her explosive Coachella sets, and I Hate Models and Patrick Mason add a darker techno edge straight from the Berlin underground. The Electric Waves Stage will spotlight local electronic heroes Antonio Zuza, Elena Mikac, Laseech, Marcel, and Mimi, showcasing Croatia’s booming dance scene.
Senidah is set to light up Umag with her emotionally charged fusion of trap, pop, and R&B, performing massive hits like “Delija,” “Replay,” and the summer anthem “Alo Alo.” Meanwhile, Grše will bring the house down with his Billboard-smashing tracks, including “Mamma Mia,” “Toyoko Drift,” and “Dalmatino.”
The trap energy won’t stop there—the underground kings 30zona will unleash their gritty “Zvuk tri nule,” Peki will deliver his breakout collaborations, and fast-rising stars like Baks—fresh off his latest album DOPAMIN 2—will keep the beats pulsing late into the night. Up-and-comers Micka Lifa (currently teasing her new EP Paradox), Špiro & Tej (dropping their second EP Puno skuplji), and seasoned party starter Thicc Boi will round out a bill that’s poised to set new festival standards.
Sea Star Festival is more than just the first part of the season; it’s a major force on Croatia’s cultural and economic landscape. Since its launch in 2017, the festival has generated over €70 million in economic and promotional benefits, according to research by TIM Centar. Its impact is massive: the 2024 edition alone attracted over 44,000 fans from 40 countries, delivering 47,400 overnight stays to Umag and reinforcing the festival’s reputation as one of Croatia’s most beloved and internationally recognized events.

With tickets originally going on sale at a promotional price of €39—a 45% discount that ended February 7—fans are urged to act fast and grab theirs now. Sea Star 2025 will feature two main explosive nights on Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24, bookended by a Welcome Day and an Afterparty. And with expansion plans teased for this season, even more surprises may be just around the corner.
In partnership with the Croatian National Tourist Board, Istria County, the City of Umag, and Plava Laguna, Sea Star Festival continues to celebrate music, culture, and connection on the shores of the Adriatic.
Get ready—Sea Star Festival 2025 will be a summer to remember.
