Breakaway Music Festival Ohio 2025: The ultimate summer escape returns

Breakaway Music Festival, presented by CELSIUS, is officially coming home for its 12th installment in Ohio, taking over Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus from May 30 to May 31, 2025. With a stacked lineup, upgraded experiences, and a reputation for making dance music accessible to everyone, Breakaway Ohio 2025 is poised to be a can’t-miss kickoff to the summer festival season.

This year’s lineup reads like a who’s who of electronic music royalty: Dom Dolla, Marshmello, Afrojack, ISOxo, Sofi Tukker, and many more will electrify the Breakaway stages. Fans can also catch sets from Ares Carter, BUNT., Deorro, Frank Walker, Jackie Hollander, Juelz, J. Worra, Leondis, Levity, Matroda, MORTEN, Nitepunk, Odd Mob, Rammi, San Pacho, and XANDRA. In a nod to its roots, Breakaway continues supporting local talent, inviting Ohio favorites Noha, Sons, and VRYBAD to perform. The festival’s host will be Bobby Hendrickson, better known as the viral sensation behind @DJLoversClub.

Founded by Adam Lynn and Zach Ruben in 2013, Breakaway Music Festival has grown into one of America’s most successful multi-city festival brands, blending affordability with top-tier production and unforgettable lineups. In 2024 alone, Breakaway expanded to 11 festivals across 10 cities, hosted two Haunted Fest events in Cincinnati and Columbus, and even brought their energy to Las Vegas with Breakaway Takeover at the Wynn.

Columbus has always been special to Breakaway—it’s where the festival first made its mark. Last year’s Ohio edition featured massive sets from Tiësto, Kaskade, John Summit, and Two Friends on the mainstage, while dubstep heavyweights like Peekaboo and Trivecta shook the Launchpad Stage. The beloved Silent Disco stage gave local Ohio artists a spotlight throughout the weekend, and the same spirit of community and discovery is expected in 2025.

Breakaway continues to stand apart from mega-festivals like EDC and Ultra by offering an accessible, high-quality experience without the hefty price tag. Two-day passes start around $130, with student discounts making it even more affordable for college crowds. For those seeking extra perks, VIP and Ultra VIP tickets provide premium viewing areas, fast-track energy, and private amenities. Space Deck passes offer the ultimate festival upgrade with bottle service-style luxury.

As Breakaway Music Festival continues to expand into new cities—including stops in Dallas, Arizona, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Alabama, and a soon-to-be-announced Northern California date—its Ohio homecoming remains a centerpiece of the brand’s heart and soul.

Get ready to dance, discover, and Breakaway—Columbus style.

Tickets are expected to move fast, so don’t miss your chance to be part of Breakaway Ohio 2025.
