May 1, 2025 – Multi-instrumentalist and alternative rising pop star Malcolm Todd shares a new Aidan Cullen-directed music video for hit single, “Chest Pain.” The song recently debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 list at No. 68, surpassing over 100 million streams and counting. The music video depicts a dramatic love story.

“Chest Pain” is a single off Malcolm Todd’s debut self-titled album, out now via Columbia Records, and follows Malcolm’s performance of the single on Jimmy Kimmel. Malcolm Todd is currently on his sold-out headline North American tour, which kicks off tonight in Texas and includes stops in Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Montreal and Toronto as well as two dates at Terminal 5 in New York and three nights at The Wiltern in Los Angeles and The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. You can find full tour routing below.

The self-titled album is a front-to-back blast, a listen that is funny, anxious, proud, and unsettled all at once. Buoyed by a bouncy bassline, crisp drums, and an intoxicating synth melody, Malcolm and his frequent collaborators Jonah Cochran and Charlie Ziman, pushed the envelope of what they were comfortable recording to tape. The result is a focused project that is just as sugary sweet as its depth and subtlety. As a whole, the album embraces a variety of genres including alternative rock, R&B and pop, while diving into themes of new love and transitioning into adulthood.

The new album also includes singles “Concrete,” “Cheer Me On,” and “Bleed” feat. Omar Apollo, the latter came alongside an Aidan Cullen-directed video of Malcolm and Omar at an underground fight club – with a cameo from Jack Harlow for good measure.
