INVERITY Releases Nostaglic Single “Leave It All Behind” ft Jonny Craig

On May 8th, 2025– Rochester metalcore band INVERITY released their newest single “Leave It All Behind” ft Jonny Craig that gives the listener a nostalgic feeling of early 2000’s metalcore. The single has both clean and heavier vocals that add that rich texture to the single to express anger as well as regret possibly. We as humans have that voice in our head that tells us right from wrong and this could be that type of situation. The heavier vocals is telling you to move on and that deceit occurred. And the soft vocals is reminiscing those feelings of love and regret which is causing you to have doubt. “Leave It All Behind” is a vivid image of dishonesty and losing clarity within yourself when you give someone your all and at the end; you are an empty vessel attempting to regain who you are as a person. The instrumental arrangement in this single is very melodic and energetic that keeps the flow of the single inviting that draws in the listener to embrace the true meaning.

“Leave It All Behind” combines the sounds from old and modern day metalcore. Featuring one of metalcore’s most iconic voices, Jonny Craig, this song is sure to bring the listener a feeling of nostalgia, while also realizing they’re hearing something they never have before. “Leave It All Behind” is about dealing with the emotions of losing a loved one, that you put every fiber of your being into, just for the relationship to fall short with you left there to pick up the pieces.
