Billy Strings set to hit the road for “Fall Tour 2025.“
May 13, 2025 — Two-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician Billy Strings is extending his headline tour into the fall with a fresh slate of newly confirmed dates. Highlights include a three-night run at Huntsville’s Orion Amphitheater, two-night stints at Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena, Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena, and Newark’s Prudential Center, plus stops at Tulsa’s BOK Center, Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena, and Austin’s Moody Center. The tour will also take Strings overseas, with performances in Oslo, Denmark, London, Dublin, and more. (Full itinerary below.)
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m. local time. For all ticketing info, visit www.billystrings.com/tour.
Before the fall dates, Strings will play a string of headline shows this summer—including his first arena tour across Australia and New Zealand in July—alongside select appearances on Willie Nelson’s “Outlaw Music Festival Tour” this month.
Additionally, Strings will reunite with Bryan Sutton this fall for a series of intimate, sold-out shows celebrating their surprise collaborative album, Live at the Legion. Recorded on April 7, 2024, at Nashville’s American Legion Post 82, the album features 20 live renditions of bluegrass and folk classics, including Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” and Doc Watson’s “Way Downtown.” [Stream or purchase here.]
Live at the Legion adds to a landmark year for Strings, who took home Best Bluegrass Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards for Live Vol. 1. The project debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums chart last summer. In addition, his most recent studio album, Highway Prayers, arrived this past fall and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales Chart—marking the first time in over two decades that a bluegrass album has topped the chart.
Released via Reprise Records and co-produced by Strings and Jon Brion (Fiona Apple, Mac Miller, Aimee Mann), Highway Prayers continues to earn critical acclaim. GQ hailed Strings as “the hottest roots-music phenomenon in decades,” while Pitchfork praised the record for “expanding his palette, exploring new textures and emotional registers while staying true to his beloved genre.” [Listen to Highway Prayers here.]
Since his 2017 debut, Billy Strings has racked up an impressive list of accolades, including:
- Best Bluegrass Album (63rd & 67th Grammy Awards)
- Artist of the Year (2022 & 2023 Americana Music Awards)
- Entertainer of the Year (2021–2023 IBMA Awards)
- Best New Headliner (2022 Pollstar Awards)
- Breakthrough Artist of the Pandemic (2021 Pollstar Awards)
He’s also appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” PBS’ “Austin City Limits,” “Bluegrass Underground,” and headlined countless sold-out venues around the globe.
