On May 30th, 2025- The Word Alive released their newest single “Eyes Above” via Oxide Records which shows how much this band is truly evolving in the music industry. “Eyes Above” is the new era of The Word Alive, but they kept the integrity of their original sound in this new single, but added a more modern touch to it to capture the attention of different audiences. In this new single; Telle has shown us that he can be versatile with his vocals and expand his soundscape to continue captivating listeners. “Eyes Above” could be a nostalgic single for older fans, but also this single I believe can entirely become irresistible to newer fans.

““Eyes Above” was one of the first songs I worked on last summer in Los Angeles on a writing trip. I had the concept lyrically when I went into the studio and knew I wanted to bridge the gap between everything people have come to love about The Word Alive, but taking it up a notch. I felt like this song was a way to celebrate the history of the band, while also ushering in a new era where we are going to show the world we have no intention of slowing down. Hopefully people want to break their necks head banging to this one.” – Telle Smith
