Una Lengua Infinita Releases Powerful Single “Tereza´s Theme”

Tereza´s Theme” holds such deep emotion behind it and you can sense the sadness, despair, and torment in all of the instruments. You can close your eyes and imagine of a love story that has two lovers that wish they can be together, but life is getting stuck between them. As the instrumental single progresses, the rhythm and tone starts to slow down and become more quiet which could indicate disaster and an unhappy ending

Here’s a little in sight about the single below!

We are in Romania, at the end of the communist era. Tereza, a young worker in a lingerie factory, goes to the station every day to watch the departure of the train to Bucharest. Why does she go? Because she is on strike, hoping to overthrow the Ceausescu family. Neighbors worry, anonymous people report her, and security services intervene. In the end, Tereza is declared insane and released. Gradually, the reasons for her actions and the purpose of her strike are revealed. The Train to Bucharest, the brilliant novel by Michel Rouan, reveals an unusual relationship in a context of totalitarian madness. The story, full of emotion, represents the silent cry of an oppressed population. Tereza narrates her life, full of hatred and passion, in an almost dreamlike atmosphere reminiscent of Murakami. Rouan shapes the reality suffered by Romania under the yoke of the Ceausescus. The Train to Bucharest symbolizes stolen dreams, with Tereza watching it
depart every day from Iasi.

Tereza’s Theme is the soundtrack of the protagonist’s story, composed and produced by Una Lengua Infinita. The instrumental piece will be performed by Luciano de la Rosa (piano, Argentina), Gabriel Bastos (violin, Brazil), Noelia Diaz (cello, Argentina), and Maciek Chojnacki (bass, Poland).
